A lot of my recent posts have been some sort of RFC/Survey topic, but there isn’t really a category for that. I tagged a few of them in Announcements, but that doesn’t feel completely satisfactory, since the description for Announcements says “Announce new release of library or compiler”

Some Uncategorized topics that could have been grouped in this category:

- [CLC Proposal #341: Strict variants of mutable data types](https://discourse.haskell.org/t/clc-proposal-341-strict-variants-of-mutable-data-types/12403)
  - I guess we also have the CLC category for this

- [Policy regarding taking over Hackage packages - #41 by dyaitskov](https://discourse.haskell.org/t/policy-regarding-taking-over-hackage-packages/11121/41)
- [Emphasize "Why Haskell?" on haskell.org landing page - #37 by chreekat](https://discourse.haskell.org/t/emphasize-why-haskell-on-haskell-org-landing-page/12036/37)
- [Good and minimal XML parsing library?](https://discourse.haskell.org/t/good-and-minimal-xml-parsing-library/12042)
- [Haskell resources in other languages: do we need them?](https://discourse.haskell.org/t/haskell-resources-in-other-languages-do-we-need-them/11996)

Some topics under Announcements that might fit better in a “RFC/Survey” category:

- [Monad of No Return: Issues with `(\>\>) = (*\>)` - #10 by rhendric](https://discourse.haskell.org/t/monad-of-no-return-issues-with/12280/10)
- [Poll for New Cabal Logo](https://discourse.haskell.org/t/poll-for-new-cabal-logo/3287)

It looks like a reasonable idea, especially for the Pre-CLC, Pre-HFTP posts that we’ve had.
