I’m happy to announce new release of hedis library:

> Client library for the Redis datastore: supports full command set,
> pipelining.

This release includes:

1. Full API support for the functions up to Redis 8.8
2. Redis extensions like JSON, TDigest, TopK.
3. A fix to a regression that appeared in 0.16.0 (because of switching to resource-pool 0.5.x, because of that connections could end up non-closed.

Special thanks for the fix to Chordify ([chordify.net](http://chordify.net)) and @swamp-agr, who faced, identified a problem and proposed a fix.

With that the main functionality required for support of Redis and Valkey is ready (possibly with some omissions on the side of the redis server). But if you see that you miss any useful functionality for Redis — please write about that!
