I think this is a good direction and would eventually like to partner with this org for DataHaskell stuff. That said, for those applying, there is really no indication of how much time this would take, how long the term is, and expected responsibilities. Is that by design to leave it flexible?
I think it might also be good to mention what kind of candidate y’all are looking for so people can self select or self filter e.g should the person be writing Haskell professionally? Should they be a package maintainer? Or would enthusiasm and energy suffice?

I have updated the post to specify the expected term length (3 years), and the expected amount of work (less than a few hours a week), as well as a loose description of what we think the role will be. Since this is a first for us, we’re leaving things relatively flexible.
This also goes for candidate requirements; we didn’t mention anything specific, but implicitly we’re looking for people who can formulate an opinion on many Haskell-specific topics. That doesn’t require having professional Haskell experience, or being a maintainer on a big Haskell project, or knowing the compile-time characteristics of generics, although those things are definitely interesting.

Can you say more how the TLC relates to the TWG? How exactly do they coexist?
Edit: I was pointed out that this was answered elsewhere, but I didn’t remember and the post doesn’t make it clear imo.

The post says it’s an “evolution of” the TWG, but that wasn’t clear. It’s replacing it.
