Hello again,

Last month had a couple infrastructure things.

- Found a pattern of stupid bot requests that seemed _designed_ to bust caching. _(I must use Hanlon’s razor… I must use Hanlon’s razor…)_ By setting up a very simple mitigation, I reduced the the biggest source of network egress active at that point in time.
- Continued modularizing deployment config. Walking the path to more frequent system updates.

There was also some communication work: the yearly log I just wrote, light interaction with the discussion on GHC’s LLM policy, and some discussion on compile times.

This month, I am prioritizing the wiki, which [had a bad month of July](https://haskell-status.org/seqd). I’ve already made some changes I will discuss next time, and I will continue to monitor it.

Assuming the wiki _does_ stabilize, I will continue to assist with the bad state of [gitlab.haskell.org](http://gitlab.haskell.org).

Wish us luck!
