vscode-haskell 2.8.0
The HLS team is proud to announce a new release for the vscode-haskell extension.
This release adds a new StatusBarItem that allows you to go to the logs of HLS more easily by clicking on it:
On hover, we show more information and allow the user to restart the extension and language server without having to remember pesky shortcuts!
This StatusBarItem is not finished yet! What else would you like to have more easily accessible?

That feature should work on recent HLS versions, but it is not particularly fast. Also, sometimes buggy
Very useful (quick access to the log especially). Thank you!

I don’t know how to trace if it restarts or not .
Along side Haskell Documentation Links are broken when clicking on source
This post is not an issue tracker and it is quite rude to post random issues with HLS when someone is posting about the work they did for the community.
If you have issues using HLS or find any bugs, you can open up an issue on github.
Responses like these will simply lead to less people doing less open source work and are not constructive at all.
