It is convenient when the entire Wi-Fi network is connected through a VPN, but users may occasionally be unable to access certain resources. Deploying two separate networks is one possible solution; however, desktop workstations are usually connected via Ethernet, and such an approach would double the number of Wi-Fi routers required. Switching between Wi-Fi networks may also be less ergonomic than expected due to bugs in the connectivity checks on Android and Windows.
