Haskell Brain Teasers

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share that the final version of my new book, Haskell Brain Teasers is now available. I’m really excited to share this with everyone.

It’s a puzzle book. Every one of the puzzles is in the form of a code example and a prompt to guess the output. The goal is to help people deepen the understanding of Haskell by working through puzzles that your mental mode of how Haskell works.

I think even fairly early Haskellers can get something out of it, but the later puzzles do get into some more advanced topics. The capstone puzzle is on linear types.

If you check it out I hope you enjoy it, and I’m happy to answer any questions about the book. I’m hoping to get a blog post up in the next week or two showing off some of the internal tooling I built to help myself as I was writing.

Finally, for folks who check out the preview chapters- yep! I know about the stray copy-editing tag that somehow missed all of the final review passes for puzzle 5, and I’m working on getting an update to that pushed soon!
