If Discourse has an API or a way to make new topics via email, I could automate posting Haskell Weekly here every Thursday. Otherwise I would be happy to manually post it like I do for Twitter and Reddit.

Great idea! I think we can setup an email address for each category – let me look into it.
You can make a new topic in the links category now by emailing replies+links@discourse.haskell.org.
Let me know if that works out well for you.

Better to have a separate thread for each issue IMO, so discussion can ensue based on the content
