I completely missed the survey this year. I guess I’m not on stackoverflow as often as I used to be.
Still nice to see Haskell back in the standard set of languages and not in the “other” category like last year.

Something I read a long time ago is that 50% of all programmers have been programming for less than 5 years[1]. This is probably 10 years out of date (programming is much more globally and generationally distributed now) but I bet it’s still close to true. At any rate it has always affected my vision for how open and approachable a community should be.
Or maybe it was one year, or two years. It was a small number. ↩︎
