[SOLVED] Difference between Control.Exception and Control.Exception.Base?

This is probably obvious to everyone but me, but I’ve been staring at the Haddock for these two modules for a few minutes, and I can’t figure out how they are different, or why I should use one over the other.

Control.Exception imports Control.Exception.Base: use Control.Exception.

I wish there was a version of the base package documentation that omitted all the things that aren’t supposed to be used (such as the entire GHC.* hierarchy, as well as Control.Exception.Base and whatever else that’s like this).
