I haven’t posted here in a long time and I think my exploration of Haskell has come to an end for now. I would like to thank the many people who offered their time and advice to help me grasp the basics of Haskell. The help was often beyond my expectations.
With the time I put into Haskell I achieved my goal of getting a deeper understanding of types and functional programming, which I am now applying to my work with TypeScript. I had tried a number of approaches to ‘functional programming with JS’ but it never really clicked. After learning (some) Haskell I largely get it now and types in TypeScript seem quite simple.
