Hi! During the last week, I attended Zurihac and the GHC Contributors’ Workshop that preceded it. Over the weekend, I tried out GHC’s new JavaScript backend while working on a personal project. I got pretty far along, but finally ran into the current lack of support for c-sources (e.g. https://github.com/haskell/bytestring/issues/573#issuecomment-1590140155). I’ll continue on related issues in my free time, but if you’re interested in the JavaScript backend, this might be a good place to help out. 
From a DevOps perspective, the week was fairly relaxed. CI has been working well, which means I am nearly finished with the effort to mitigate spurious failures. In the coming weeks, I will be wrapping that up and considering the next targets.
