Haskell Playground on Haskell.org

https://play-haskell.tomsmeding.com/ seems really nice. Do people think it’s something that should be linked to (or embedded) in haskell.org instead of the current one-line code evaluator?

Speaking at least for myself, I think being able to just play with code in browser significantly decreases my activation energy to engage with a new language.

Yes please! Gather more awesome things at haskell.org (ensuring their maintainers can still maintain them easily). Dramatically increases discoverability and trust.

I think the repl on the front page is still better because it has an interactive tutorial. So I think it would be better to move the playground to a separate page like haskell.org/playground or play.haskell.org. Maybe the short interactive tutorial can link to the playground at the end.

https://play.haskell.org would be fantastic to have!!

hypothetic https://play.haskell.org would be awesome. How much it would take to migrate the current playground? It seems that PR hasn’t move for a while, maybe we should open a broader disccusion on it.
