I want to share a video series based on a free e-book, “Learn Haskell by Building a blog generator”:
We implement a simple static blog generator in Haskell, converting documents written in a custom markup language to HTML.

I wanted to once again say thank you for your hard work @Zelenya. I’m incredibly honored you chose this book to adapt and I think you did a really great job at presenting the material.
I’m very happy to see another free Haskell resource and I really appreciate all the time and effort you invested to make it easier for newcomers to learn Haskell!
Any thoughts on the Twitter project (Gabriella Gonzalez build yourself a twitter)? Or, given current events, “Learn Haskell By Building A Reddit Clone in 72 hours?”
Honestly, if we were to frontpage /r/programming with it, it’d probably get upvoted with the implicit message of “ummm, going after your programming community is bad, because we can replicate your product in short time, in this case, in 72 hours”.
That would be funny indeed. Although the “product” here is eyeballs, not the feed with threaded comments (that was already replicated numerous times).
