We’re the developers of NGLess, a domain-specific language for (parts of) bioinformatics written in Haskell.
We are looking for motivated students who want to apply for Google Summer of Code or the Tweag Fellowship to work on a real-world haskell project. Note that GSoC is open to any university student (undegrad or grad), while the Tweag Fellowship is even broader (any career stage!). They are both 3 months-funded programmes.
We have some possible ideas, from the basic to the advanced, already, but note that we are not bound by these, so please feel free to reach out and discuss.
