I just stumbled on the ghci Hackage package: ghci: The library supporting GHC's interactive interpreter
It appears to have versions that correspond to GHC releases, but they stopped after 8.10.2. So what is this package? 
I think this is the official package, but it is just not maintained very well. The ghc package on Hackage is also lagging behind although that just one minor version behind (it’s on 9.4.2 while 9.4.3 is the latest version). There have been issues asking for bumps on GHC’s gitlab: Upload ghc-9.4.1 on Hackage (#22082) · Issues · Glasgow Haskell Compiler / GHC · GitLab. I guess you could do a similar thing for the ghci package.
