Is the new nightly not backwards compatible with an old version of Stack? (2.9.3.1)
I’m getting an error when it’s trying to build the StackSetupShim
because initialBuildSteps
is not in scope.

(GHC 9.10.1 comes with Cabal-3.12.0.0.)
Stack 2.9.3.1 is quite old. Stacks aims to have a high degree of backwards compatibility, so, if you upgrade Stack, your workflows are unlikely to be adversely affected.
