A newbie Assistance on Haskell

I currently started out on Haskell, still a beginner, though not a newbie in software engineering. I am pleased to join this community, and will greatly appreciate every form of assistance.
My goal is to start writing on Plutus.

Happy to connect thanks.

Welcome!

The chats are another good resource. (Matrix is a little better than IRC for beginners perhaps.)

Thank you @simonmic. Please can you explain (Matrix is a little better than IRC for beginners perhaps).

Hey anointed,

Personally, Haskell started to click when I read the book Haskell Programming from First Principles, although like you I had prior software engineering experience.

IRC and Matrix are ways to chat with other Haskellers. If you’ve never heard of them then Matrix is probably easier to get started with. You can go to the Matrix Haskell chat room via this link: https://matrix.to/#/#haskell:matrix.org
